Description: This 3-days workshop is designed for the acquisitions manager who has responsibility for managing the bibliographic and item database workflow and materials processing and database maintenance within the Sierra environment. Discussed will be — best practices in the areas of material cataloging and database maintenance. There will be an opportunity to share ideas with other libraries, with time for questions about the particular settings of your institution.

Prerequisites:Knowledge of cataloging practices and procedures and ability to make changes to the system.

Audience:Cataloging Manager or Technical Services Supervisor
