This 1-day workshop is designed for the Cataloging Supervisor and Technical Services Supervisor who has responsibility for managing cataloging workflow including bibliographic and item records creation and maintenance within the Polaris environment. Discussed will be — best practices in the areas of managing bibliographic and item records creation/editing/purging, along with tools for database maintenance. There will be an opportunity to share ideas with other libraries, with time for questions about the particular settings of your institution.

Prerequisites: Knowledge of cataloging procedures.

Audience: Cataloging Supervisor or Technical Services Supervisor for the Library
