The SEND Social Stockport

Hi there, we are two SEND mums, Jennifer and Nicky from Stockport, Cheshire.

Being in the SEND world is sometimes incredible lonely and we want to change that!

We have set up an independent group and events to attend will show here for other parents/carers of SEND children.

The group is completely inclusive for all parents/carers with children of additional needs and open to ALL parents, carers, genders and varied additional needs.

The aim of our group is to empower parents/carers to know they are not alone and offer a safe space to speak openly & honestly about the difficulties we face daily as families in raising children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Making friends, connecting to others in similar situations in a safe and friendly environment whilst having a much needed break is our main priority.

Along with meeting other parents/carers, we will also invite various professionals, support workers and organisations in order to inform families of the support options out there for us to access.

We're all in this together and we understand!
