Every safe workplace starts with people who choose to care enough to act.

If your company employs 20 or more workers, establishing a Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) isn’t just good practice — it’s a legal requirement under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). Approved by Ontario’s Chief Prevention Officer (CPO), our JHSC Training Programs — Part 1, Part 2, and Refresher — give participants the knowledge, confidence, and mindset to lead workplace safety with clarity and purpose.

Part 1 builds the foundation: understanding legislation, recognizing hazards, and learning how to make meaningful recommendations that prevent injuries before they happen.
Part 2 takes that knowledge further, applying it to hazard-specific training that builds real-world competence and decision-making skills.
And the Refresher keeps certified members current, engaged, and confident in their role as safety leaders — every three years.

Through real-world discussions, practical activities, and relatable examples, participants learn how to see risk clearly, communicate effectively, and lead with confidence.
Whether you’re a committee member, supervisor, or emerging leader, our JHSC training helps you move beyond compliance — and toward creating a culture where safety isn’t a checkbox, but a shared responsibility.
