Resilience - A Different Perspective - Social Care Managers

This training for registered managers of care settings will be focused on resilience, and exploring different perspectives of what it is and how to support teams to be more resilient. The training will be delivered by Dr Marianne Welford (Clinical Psychologist) and Dr Natashia Harris (Clinical Psychologist) from the Stronger Together team. There will be lots of opportunity for discussion and to ask questions. See topic outline below.

‘Resilience, a different perspective’

Resilience is often considered from an individual perspective, but this can disregard some of the contextual and environmental factors which influence someone’s ability to both cope and ‘bounce back’ after difficult experiences. The session will offer the opportunity to connect with other managers, reflect and share experiences as well as provide practical ideas and steps to build resilient teams.
