Enamelling is the art of fusing powdered glass to metal by firing it in a kiln. This workshop is a great introduction to enamelling as students will learn the steps to prepare copper for enamelling and learn different decorating techniques.
You will be taught raise a bowl from a flat piece of copper and add enamel to your piece. You will also have time to make a piece of jewellery.
The beauty of enamelling is that you will be firing your own work in my specialist kilns. You work will be ready to take home at the end of the workshop.

Come and learn how to design and make a beautiful piece of jewellery. Cut your own shapes using piercing saws and snips, add texture and form to your piece. You can then learn how to add colour using powdered glass firing your own work in my specialist kilns. your work will be ready to take home and wear at the end of the work shop.

Come and have ago at the ancient art of enamelling. Using powdered and wet process enamels, stencils and sifting techniques. You will build your image using multiple layers of powdered glass firing each layer as you go in my specialist enamelling kilns.
This is a fun creative workshop and you will go home with your master piece mounted on a white MDF backing board.
