KCDS was established in 2010 with the aim of creating a modern, vibrant dance school, taking the concept of dance training for school-age students to the next level.

Committed to inspiring young dancers, we foster talent and engage our pupils in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

We offer classical Ballet tuition in conjunction with the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) as well as Modern, Tap and Jazz dance which follow the Imperial Society for Teachers of Dance (ISTD) syllabus. Alongside these core disciplines we also offer complimentary classes in Acrobatic Arts, Contemporary Dance, Musical Theatre and Street Dance.

Our teachers are fully qualified and provide excellent training, and our approach is reflected in our excellent examination results, with KCDS students consistently attaining outstanding results in their dance examinations - with more than 75% of students achieving distinction.

And our record of success sees many students obtaining placements at the Brit School, Royal Ballet School and associate programmes with professional Ballet and Modern dance companies.
