We have a second site at The Heatons School, St James' Road, Heaton Moor

From Dane Bank we run - a full time Nursery Monday-Friday (we accept 15/30 funded hours), a Home-Education Group - Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, a holiday club each school holiday's and some bespoke Alternative Provision placements. We also run stay and play weekly sessions, some weekend family forest school sessions and birthday parties.

From Heaton's site we run - a range of weekend family forest schools, birthday parties, and holiday clubs based on Stockport Council school holidays.

Sessions with Kids Go Wild are varied and diverse to suit all ages and needs. Leaders are qualified or training to be Level 3 Forest School Leaders, our staff:child ratio is much higher than the legal requirements, we have some lovely caring, nurturing staff who fancied something a bit more free and muddy than the National Curriculum has to offer!

We follow the 6 principles of the Forest School ethos which are:

1. Forest School is a long term process of frequent and regular sessions
2. Forest School takes place in a woodland or natural wooded environment to support the development between the learner and the natural world
3. Forest School aims to promote the holistic development of all those involved, fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners
4. Forest School offers learners the opportunity to take supported risks appropriate to the environment and to themselves
5. Forest School is ran by qualified forest school practitioners who continuously maintain and develop their professional practice
6. Forest School uses a range of child-centred processes to create a community for development and learning
