This Forest School training course also includes a second week of training (W/c 20th November 2023) Cost £850 includes both weeks of training, course materials, ongoing support and membership of the Forest School Association.
NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Forest School Programme Leadership (RQF)
This course is an opportunity to explore to a higher level different approaches to using the outdoor environment in a Forest School setting and is for those who and wish to coordinate, manage and lead Forest School Sessions with children, young people or adults.

Cost: £850
You will investigate how best to design and run a Forest School programme and look at how to approach and apply it safely and effectively.
This Forest School Level 3 course is aimed at individuals who have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Youth Work, Child Care, Teaching, or relevant experience in working with children.
The course content of this qualification is based on up-to-date research surrounding aspects of
Holistic development
Neuroscience
Theories of Learning and Development
Woodland conservation, history and management
Wellbeing and nature connection
Risk benefit assessments
Course Duration
Initial training week – consisting of 5 days of training
Portfolio work – candidates take away their portfolio to work on (For about 7 months)
First Aid – Candidates complete a 2 day ITC outdoor paediatric first aid course at own cost
Second week – Consisting of 5 days of further training and benchmarking
Participants on this course will need to complete a paediatric outdoor First Aid 2 day course before completing their Forest School training. (First Aid not included in price).

You will receive an email with instructions on how to access our online learning content. Plus, a Participants Pack that lists everything you need to know about your training weeks, what to expect and what to bring.
For the Level 3 Forest Schools Practitioners Award it is a pre-requisite to have an appropriate First Aid Certificate. This can be completed after the initial training but must be held before the assessment. Kindling Play and Training do not offer First Aid Training, however we can recommend some places to you where you can find the correct course.

Payment terms and conditions.
We ask that you make the payment in full before the first day of training or make arrangement with us if you wish to pay by instalments.
We ask that you pay the final instalment by the deadline we agree with you.
Cancellation
If you cancel a course 4 weeks prior to the course starting, we will refund 100% of your fee.
If you cancel a course within 4 weeks of the course starting, we will take an £80 administration fee unless your booking is moved to another date.
If we cancel a course, we will offer a suitable alternative or offer you a refund in full.
