Details

Learn advanced jewellery casting and wax carving techniques to bring your creative designs to life through sand casting and commercial casting methods.

This advanced-level Jewellery Casting and Wax Carving Course is designed for experienced makers who want to refine their casting and model-making skills. You’ll explore both sand casting - a hands-on, achievable in-studio process - and commercial casting methods used by professional jewellery manufacturers.

Throughout the course, you’ll learn how to create precise masters in a variety of materials, including wax, to support both one-off artistic pieces and small-scale production. You’ll also gain insight into designing jewellery specifically for casting, from initial model to finished piece.

By the end of the course, you’ll have produced multiple original cast jewellery pieces, mastered in-studio and commercial casting techniques and gained the confidence to integrate casting into your creative or commercial practice.
