Details

Our Silver Jewellery Afternoon Class is for competent students with experience of jewellery making. Students are expected to be confident working on their own jewellery designs and know their way around a jewellery workshop, however, Nerissa is available in class to offer advice to help resolve any design and construction issues students may encounter.

This class is useful if you’re looking to work on your own designs and need access to workshop facilities. Prior to starting the class it’s worth having an idea for a project you wish to work on to get the most out of your time in the workshop.

The workshop is extremely well equipped with access to a rolling mill, draw plates, various mandrills and stakes. Each workstation has its own tool box with space for social distancing.

This class is not a taught class with projects to follow, so if you would like to learn new jewellery techniques please browse our current course list where we have courses to suit beginners through to advanced makers.

What will I learn?

Students are expected to be competent makers and know how to realise their own projects. A class tutor is available in an advisory role to help students achieve their goals.
