Refund policy

Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair and supportive as possible while keeping our small organisation running smoothly.

Payments as Donations
All payments made through our booking system are treated as donations to support our community projects and woodland activities. When you book a place at one of our free events, your donation helps us prepare materials, pay facilitators, and maintain the community space.

Requesting a Refund
If you need to cancel your booking, you may request a refund up to 48 hours before the start of the event.

48‑Hour No‑Refund Window
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are not eligible for a refund, as your donation will already have been allocated to event preparation and materials.

Admin Fee Deduction
For all eligible refunds, 20% of your original donation will be retained to cover administrative costs. You will receive 80% of your donation back.

Non‑Attendance
If you do not attend the event without notifying us, we are unable to offer a refund.

Event Cancellations by Us
If we need to cancel an event—for example, due to severe weather or unforeseen circumstances—you are entitled to a refund of your donation minus a 10% admin fee.
Refunds are not issued automatically. You will need to request your refund within 14 days of the cancellation.
If no request is made within this timeframe, your donation will be retained to support our community work.

How to Request a Refund
Please contact us at info@ledbythewild.co.uk with your name, booking details, and the event you wish to cancel. We will process your refund as quickly as possible.
