Learn to use the breath as a tool to master your mind and body
Prana is the Life Force or the 'Vital Energy' that animates every function of the body. Once we learn how to balance and harmonize Prana we are drawn to feel complete and whole in the Body, Mind, and Spirit.
In this workshop, we will learn how to create a deeper relationship with each inhalation and exhalation, and especially with each retention. We will find how the breath nourishes us with energy. We will immerse in some of these breathing techniques that we incorporate in our daily classes, so we can take away a deeper understanding and a confident pranayama practice as a part of our daily Yoga Sadhana.
Dear Practitioners,
I hope you are well and are getting ready for your Pranayama afternoon.
I am very excited to be seeing you all here.
This is going to be a 2 hour practice. So I thought I would send you a note for you to prepare for this.
Please choose comfortable clothing for the practice. We will be moving a little but will remain seated for a longer duration. So do bring your layers on.
As the breathwork needs the body to receive it, as much as possible try and have your meal 2 hours before the workshop. Any pranayama practice after digestion will be more effective. If you're hungry, then water will be your friend :) You could also carry a fruit with you if you need to hydrate during the session.
Please bring a journal and a pen to take any notes that you wish to. There will be good information shared.
A full bottle of water.
A bunch of napkins will be handy in case you have a blocked nose as we're going to be clearing the nasal passage a bit in the beginning.
