At a time when we could all do with a nice warm fire to huddle around, and when fiery Mars will have just gone retrograde, come and spend an afternoon exploring the qualities of your own fire through movement, shamanic ritual, and your astrological chart. 

This will be a "shamanic informed" afternoon of Mandala Yoga practice, an introduction to Vedic Astrology including what you can expect during the current cycle of Mars retrograde, then closing with a shamanic meditation journey to explore your fire within.

Mandala Yoga is a Vinyasa style of yoga that connects the elements to movement.

Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) is the system of astrology connected to the teachings of both Yoga and Ayurveda. It is a lunar based perspective that uses a system of measurement called sidereal which will shift the placement of the planets and houses in your chart from what you might have become familiar with. While the zodiac signs may be the same as the more widely used Western Astrology system, there are some very unique analysis methods and planetary meanings to tell the story of your chart from a different perspective.

Shamanism/Shamanic refers to a diverse range of cultural traditions and practices that stem from a deep connection with the Earth, Elements, and Spirit world. For this workshop we will be opening up the space to invite connection with the 7 directions and taking a guided mediation to connect with the element of Fire you are holding within.
 
About me:
I’m a Vedic Astrologer, Yogi, and Shamanic practitioner, which one level is all the same
practice just using different tools. I love learning, and teaching, how to discover more layers of who we are and how we are connected to everything around us. As a yoga teacher my focus is on sharing how to connect in with our physical body and activating it in ways that feel good (not just look good), as an Astrologer I love to help bring more clarity to both the talents and challenges we’ve each uniquely been gifted and provide guidance on how they will continue to unfold and evolve. Then with my Shamanic work, well that is definite proof of real magic, being able to guide people through experiences that open them up to new ways of seeing themselves, and the seen & unseen worlds around them is pretty special.
