Details

8 CPD Points ESSA
This is a full day face to face, Practical & Theory Course available for exercise physiologists, exercise scientists and allied health practitioners involved in musculoskeletal rehab.

The days program is focused on the rehabilitation of the shoulder girdle and aims to enhance your understanding of clinical presentations, clinical reasoning, exercise prioritisation, sequencing, and progression. It also explores ways to optimise the client's contribution to self-management, engagement, and their results.

The course will include elements of shoulder anatomy, biomechanics, and motor control - with a focus on the changes that can occur from injury and pathophysiological / structural changes. It will also provide a framework to determine the physical state of the functional shoulder unit, and the potential level of rehabilitation complexity that may be required.

Case based applications will be integrated into the learnings with both theoretical and practical solution practice to apply new knowledge throughout the workshop. Conditions will include a broad range of clinical presentations that exercise physiologists may frequently encounter including muscular / tendinous strains, impingement syndromes, instabilities, and biomechanical shoulder girdle dysfunction.
