Join us at Level 1 (introductory level) or as a returning mums at Level 2 to progress further.

This class is ideal for new mums or not so new who need a little core TLC. The ideal first step back to fitness post birth, strengthening you from within with a focus on the abdominal muscles and pelvic floor muscles especially but also toning the body as a whole.

The class involves lots of lovely release work to ease out those aches & pains, standing resistance exercises and mat-based Pilates using body weight, resistance bands & small balls. We also focus on postural changes that occur during pregnancy.

Strengthening from the inside out can help towards repairing abdominal separation, may improve pelvic floor function and lead to a flatter stronger core.

  • Tips to manage pelvic floor weakness
  • Stress, fat-loss & relaxation
  • Self massage techniques
  • abdominal separation checks

No childcare? No problem bring baby along to join us! Please be aware that babies are not directly involved in the session as our main focus is on mum and your alignment, but can be nearby or on our communal play mat with toys. You may wish to bring a bouncer seats or pop them next to you on their own play mat/blanket (if not crawling). However, babies needs come first so we are a very relaxed class and you are encouraged to feel at ease about attending to baby's needs whenever necessary.

Occasionally some mums like to bring along a relative/friend to help care for little ones during class but due to the sensitive nature of some of our discussions and everybody's comfort, female helpers only please.

Suitable following clearance to exercise at your 6-8 week post birth GP check up or 8-10 weeks following a C-section (depending on your recovery).
