Midday & Breaktime Course - Dealing with Autism During Unstructured Times

Details

This essential NEW course has been designed for support staff or anyone working with students with Autism (such as lunchtime supervisors, facilities staff, volunteers, teachers and support staff), or anyone who would like to move into this field. During the course, delegates will develop their understanding and knowledge of Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and sensory issues, identify possible triggers and behaviours as well as gain strategies to prevent behaviour outbursts. They will leave with reassuringly uncomplicated strategies to enable your students to enjoy the whole school experience.

This course is suitable for lunchtime supervisors, school cooks, catering staff, front of house, teaching assistants and support staff working in early years (EY), primary (P), secondary (S), and SEN schools.
