Multi-sensory Messy Play for Babies, Toddlers and Young Children in Hemel Hempstead

Welcome to Berry Messy!

We are a family-run business with 3 messy little monsters and are Enhanced DBS checked with Paediatric First Aid training.

We will be providing multi-sensory messy play classes on a weekly basis. These are suited to children from 4 months (sitting unaided) to 5 years, however older/younger siblings are welcome to accompany parents. We will initially be running one class per week with a view to increasing classes as demand requires. These classes will be 45mins long with 15mins at the end to clean up your little one. Times and days are as follows;

Berry Messy - 4 months (must be sitting unaided) up to 5 years - Saturday's 10.15am until 11.15am

Messy play is not only lots of fun but also has many benefits to a child's development. Our classes allow your little one to explore each texture in a safe environment, smelling, touching, playing and even tasting with little expectation. Messy play also helps with fine motor skills, hand and shoulder strength, body balance, cognitive growth, gross motor skills and socialisation.

We only use items that are taste safe or edible because we understand your little one does a lot of their learning by putting things in their mouths. All allergens are clearly labelled next to each messy play tray. If your child has a specific allergy, please make us aware prior to booking any of our class so we can try and accommodate this. We also make sure all items are sterilised prior to each class.

We understand the difficulties of having multiple kids of different ages, so please contact us if this is you and we will suggest the best option so everyone can get messy.
