The SKI TASTER LESSON is an introduction to skiing and is designed for someone who has never been on skii's or it's been a long time since you have and want to start again.

The LESSON is for ages 6+ and so is a Junior/Adult mixed class, the Session is ONE HOUR.

After kitting up at the ski centre we head out to the smaller "Nursery slope" we aim to try getting you to a "Snow Plough" by the end of the session so that if you have enjoyed it and want to do some more lessons, you can either book onto the next stage BEGINNER COURSE or PRIVATE LESSONS.

A PAIR OF GLOVES (don't bring a brand new pair the surface/lift is abrasive)
SUITABLE CLOTHING (Trousers (jeans if not raining) A coat in case it rains)
THICK SOCKS (for wearing Ski/Snowboard boots)
YOU DON'T have to wear winter clothing!!!!!!

If the weather is nice/warm we may get you ready outside, otherwise we will get you ready in the ski centre, we will have all the kit ready, this is why we ask you to be as accurate as you can with your SHOE SIZE/HEIGHT/WEIGHT

Children must be supervised at all times – indoor and outdoor

As the responsible adult we ask you to assess the capabilities of your children and ensure they use age appropriate play equipment safely and responsibly

Adults may accompany small children on equipment, but care must be taken around other children

Height and age restrictions are in place for safety reasons and must be adhered to

Food and drink (including chewing gum) are not permitted on any of the play equipment

Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted anywhere in Charlie fastrax or Halifax ski slope
