Yoga Classes Monday, Wednesday and Saturday

Thank you all for your continued support and good wishes over the last few weeks.
I am doing much better physically and as a consequence feeling a lot brighter and more positive 😊.
The decision to temporarily & completely refrain from teaching and yoga practice has definitely paid off, and I am confident that I am healing well and will return to full strength very soon.
As you will be aware, the style of yoga I teach is a challenging mix of vinyasa, hatha and strength poses.

In order to fully heal and take the pressure off myself I have decided to offer a slightly slower paced hatha class for a few weeks.

The classes will consist of simple and effective yoga poses, longer juicy holds (think yin/restorative), more floor work, occasional use of yoga straps, bricks etc. This type of slower paced hatha yoga class is really beneficial to the body and mind and allows us to get into the fascia for deeper release. You will definitely still feel as though you have worked, and leave feeling stretched, supple and open.

My plan is to teach and instruct these sessions rather than physically participate myself.

The class format may include a longer meditation/nidra/body scan/poetry/savasana element which is something that we all love and constantly mention is never long enough! Rather than a few minutes this could be around 10-15 minutes in each session.

The benefit slightly shifting the class in this way is that we still get to meet up regularly and enjoy the community and social aspect of practicing together.

Yoga teaches us to be flexible, in both body and mind. The ability to be flexible of spirit is what gives us the strength and grace to dig deep when needed. To embrace patience, acceptance and dealing with what is, rather than what if.
