This Mixed Ability Pilates class is 55 minutes long and will include a mixture of standing, seated and floor based mat work.
Classes may use a range of small equipment such as resistance bands, light weights, balls, rollers or rings.
Equipment used varies from week to week.
7 week block dates are as follows:
Day & Time: Monday 7.30 pm (doors open 7.20 pm)
First Class: Monday 8th June
Last Class: Monday 20th July
Location: North Weston Village Hall, 26 Clevedon Rd, Portishead, Bristol BS20 6TB
This class IS SUITABLE for
- beginners;
- postnatal clients who are 8+ weeks postpartum.
Please note, this class IS NOT SUITABLE for:
- clients more than 12 weeks pregnant;
- under 16s.
This class can be adapted for clients with osteoporosis or osteopenia.

Equipment:
For the 55 min mat classes, please can you bring the following equipment with you every week:
- a mat;
- a long resistance band (ideally 1.5 metres or longer);
- a hand towel or thin cushion; and
- a set of light hand weights (I generally recommend 0.5 kg weights for the gentle class, 1 kg for the other classes)
New starters - don't go out and buy anything, bring whatever you already have at home. I always have a spare mat & spare set of kit in the car so you are welcome to use any of that for your first class. Then once you've been to a class and seen what we use and how we use it you can decide what you would need going forwards.
Class swapboard:
If you are unable to attend one of your scheduled classes, you are welcome to a catch up class during the same term. This is self managed through the class swapboard.
