Seed + Root Nature School CIC

Seed + Root Nature School is situated within an exclusive site on the beautiful Dinefwr National Trust Estate; a place rich with ancient trees, wildlife, and history. From this inspiring setting, we run our regular sessions where children can play, explore, and help shape the future of the site itself. Seed + Root Nature School CIC is run by Philippa, a qualified Forest School Leader and a team of volunteers. We are a Forest School Association Recognised Provision.

Little Guardians (under 6s)
Fridays 10am-12pm

Rooted in an ethos of experiential learning, child-led discovery, and deep respect for the natural world, these weekly sessions nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence. Through hands-on experiences like den building, fire lighting, tool use, nature crafts, storytelling, and wild play, children learn by doing, building real-life skills and meaningful connections with each other and the environment.

Our sessions are rooted in a forest school ethos, nurturing curiosity and care for the environment while supporting social skills and emotional wellbeing.

• Holiday Club

We are registered with the Care Inspectorate for Wales to care for up to 15 children age 5-12 in the school holidays. Give your child a unique experience where they can build a special connection to nature through play and life skills such as fire lighting, tool use, woodland games, and much more. Places available to book now.

*Birthday Parties

We offer one space per month for birthday parties, which includes exclusive use of our space for your birthday guests of up to 15 children, plates and cutlery provided for food, wooden cake stand, lots of play opportunities, 2 x forest school crafts, and a campfire snack of your choosing.
