Zoom off with us on an exciting story adventure!
As you would expect, things will be quite a bit different to how we all know and love Story Stars, BUT we will still be having TONS of sensory fun, just making sure we are keeping as safe as possible from those nasty viruses 🦠
Please read below to find out what we are doing to keep COVID 19 safe. As the Government is currently moving through the COVID Roadmap, from 21st June, Story Stars MAY go back to some, or all, of the old structure of free flow play. This will only be done inline with Government guidelines, but we just wanted you to be aware that as of this date, the format may alter. We will update you of any changes when we know more details.
The current COVID changes are as follow:
⏰ adhering to COVID guidelines, our sessions are now 40 minutes in length to enable us to get everybody in and out of the session safely within the required timeframes and allow thorough cleaning in between sessions.
⏰ You will need to arrive 5 mins BEFORE your session start time and WAIT outside the building (socially distanced, NO early entry will be permitted) until your class leader comes to let your session in, you will then need to remain socially distanced.
📱Please use the NHS Test and Trace app to sign into the venues (where applicable).
🙌 You will need to hand sanitise BEFORE you enter the session room using the sanitisers provided.
😷 All adults and children over 11yrs must wear a face mask when moving around the building, but can take them off when you are on stationary on your mat.
🛍️ You will be allocated your own story blanket (or socially distanced mat) all facing towards your class leader, where you will have your individual prop bags and sensory / messy play activities waiting for you.
💜 You must ONLY use these props and try to keep your little ones with you on your designated mat.
We are soooo excited 🎊 to finally get to see you all again. We have missed you all so very much, but we have been working hard behind the scenes preparing for a safe return. Things will no doubt eventually get back to more of a normal way, but until then, let’s make the best of things in a new way keeping everyone as SAFE as possible.
