WILD WOODS CLUB!

No WiFi, no walls, no worries

Childhood is changing… fast. Children are more sedentary, anxious, and overstimulated than ever before. Once upon a time, school-aged children roamed their neighbourhoods until dinner – and now they move from the classroom to the sofa. We’re facing a national crisis in child wellbeing. But prevention is just as important as intervention. Movement, freedom, and connection to nature are powerful, proven protectors of mental health - and that’s exactly what we offer.

They’ll climb, cook over an open fire, try slacklining, build shelters, work in teams - and mostly, discover what it feels like to be free, outdoors and capable. We strip away the structure of typical clubs and focus instead on resilience, confidence and connection. It’s child-led, screen-free, and wildly fun.

It is a well-documented fact that children who play outside are more curious, stimulated, healthy, engaged and active. Research shows that the more time children spend in nature, the better their mental health outcomes. Not only is outdoor play central to children’s enjoyment of childhood, it teaches critical life skills, builds confidence and self-esteem as well as enhancing growth and development. Studies have found being outside also stimulates learning, improving concentration and cognitive processing and even academic test scores!

And the memories? They last a lifetime.

We have two session types available so please check the dates for the age ranges.
