Hi I am Nancy, founder and owner of NK Dance and Fitness and "Kalo" Feel Good, Holistic and Energising Retreats.

Welcome to a variety of style and type of exercise and to an all inclusive community supporting and motivating each other to stay fit and healthy. You will be able to attend face to face, virtual or On Demand classes depending on your lifestyle, time availability and mood. Below is a short description of each type of class available:

Paracise: Easy to follow standing exercises to great music. Gentle to the joints yet effective. It flows smoothly through movements designed to improve balance, mobility, posture, flexibility, whilst improving your muscle memory. It will leave you feeling refreshed and invigorated.

FitSteps FAB: An energetic and up beat low impact dance cardio workout based on all of your favourite strictly dances and other styles of dance ie disco, Bollywood etc. It is designed to give real, measurable fitness results.

FitSteps: An energetic and up beat high impact dance cardio workout based on all of your favourite strictly dances and other styles of dance ie disco, Bollywood etc. It is designed to give real, measurable fitness results.

Strength & Tone: A carefully designed full body strengthening and toning workout for all muscle groups arms, abdominals, legs and buttocks as well as a weighted cardio and some balance improving sequences included. Different equipment are used and different fitness techniques such as interval training.

Strength, Balance, Stretch: Comfortable pace class incorporating exercises for arms, abs and buttocks as well as focusing on core strengthening and balance movements. Finishes with stretch and flexibility exercises. No floor work. (Equipment: Hand held weights, something to hold in your hands a wide book, Yoga/Pilates block or brick, an elasticated band and a chair.)

Pure stretch: A slow pace class for a complete and pure stretch for most of the muscles of your body. This class is mainly done sitting or lying on the floor. (Equipment: A mat, a yoga block or a folded blanket/towel and a cotton belt or non elasticated scarf)

Basic Dance Workout: An easy to follow dance workout with basic steps from different styles and genre of dance from around the world.

Hatha Yoga: A gentle class for all abilities, focusing on different asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing exercises). This practise links the movement with the breath and a variety of modifications to encourage participation of everyone is given. (Equipment: A mat, Yoga block or folded blanket/towel)

Restorative Yoga: This type of yoga is a soothing and slow pace yoga that holds postures (asanas) for longer. It will calm and balance you mind and body, it will improve flexibility and joint mobility and has a relaxing and healing effect. This is a yoga class for when needing to balance your energy, reduce stress and anxiety, perfect for a good night sleep. Grab your yoga mat and turn down the lights.

Fusion class: A class that incorporates the following three types of exercise, dance cardio, strength and balance. 20 minutes cardio, 20 minutes strength, 20 minutes balance. (Equipment needed are hand held weights or tins of soup/beans.)

Virtual classes are via zoom and are £4 per class
On Demand classes are through Vimeo and are £4
You can have a membership of £28 per month for unlimited zoom and On Demand classes.

Face to face classes are £6 per class pre book or £7 to just drop in.
You can get a pass for each of face to face classes at £54 for 10 classes but you must pre book and use the pass offer within 4 months.
