Little Friends 2020 @ Roundhay Park

We love Roundhay Park and we want to inspire the next generation to love it and protect it and it was out of this desire that Little Friends of Roundhay Park was born.

We are a small voluntary group within "Friends of Roundhay Park" charity, dedicated to creating engaging and fun activities for children and teenagers in Roundhay Park.

Children and their families can volunteer on our family-friendly working parties, or book onto our forest craft workshops and forest school classes which are all held in Roundhay Park throughout the year.

Priority given to FoRP Family members - the best way to ensure you're able to book the classes you'd like is to join FoRP as a family member for £20 annual fee. It's simple to join https://forp.org/join/. The membership benefits include 20% discount on single class bookings, early bird priority for bookings and exclusive access to some events.

And new for this year is the introduction of Class Passes which give 30% discount on 3 Forest school or Craft workshops per child - only available to members.

Remaining tickets available to public to buy 3 weeks before event. A waiting list is available, so please add your details if you’d like to be contacted in event of a cancellation. Ticket sales shut at 10pm the night before a class so the team have a final number of children assist to plan for.

ALL CHILDREN MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A SUPERVISING ADULT — max of 3 children per adult on a booking.

If you can no longer make a booked session:

o If it is more than 7 days prior to the event you can transfer your booking to another FoRP children’s event of the same value or less on another date; or
o if you notify FoRP of your non-attendance at littlefriends@forp.org and we are able to fill your child(ren)s space from the waiting list then you will receive a full refund.

You are not otherwise entitled to a refund.

FoRP may cancel a booked session:

• if there are insufficient attendees;
• if the session leaders are not available; or
• in case of severe weather (high winds or extreme temperatures, but not rain).

In the unlikely event that Little Friends needs to cancel a session, you will given first priority at any replacement session or refunded the ticket money in full (your choice). FoRP will email all participants and put a notice on the Little FoRP Facebook page in the event of cancellation.

If you have used a discount code that you were not entitled to FoRP may contact you and give you the option to pay the correct amount, but reserves the right to cancel your booking without any refund unless we are able to fill your child(ren)’s space from the waiting list (in which case you will receive a full refund).
