Refund Policy

Music at Heart is a small, independent, not-for-profit organisation. As our venue hire, staffing and music costs are committed in advance, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for classes or courses that you are unable to attend, including due to illness, holidays or other personal circumstances.

Brand new families booking a full course for the first time may request a refund after attending their first class if they decide the course is not the right fit. We will refund all remaining classes, less the cost of the class attended. Please email us at musicatheart@hotmail.com within 7 days of your first class.

If you know in advance that you cannot attend a class, you may be able to Gift-a-Session to another family. Brand new families require at least one week's notice so that we can register them before they attend. Existing Music at Heart families may take your place at shorter notice through our WhatsApp Community.

If Music at Heart has to cancel a class due to teacher illness or another unforeseen circumstance, we will either offer you a place in another class that week (where we are able to accommodate this), or provide a full refund if an alternative class is not suitable.

Lottery-funded and subsidised places follow the same attendance policy. Please note that any donations made towards Lottery-funded or subsidised places are non-refundable.
