Rebecca Woollard Sewing School & Haberdashery

Established in 2007, we provide a range of dressmaking, soft furnishing and creative courses. We are based in Hatfield Heath, near Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire. Our retail shop, which opened in 2012, offers a wide range of products, including haberdashery and dressmaking fabrics. We are a Janome sewing machine/overlocker stockist and service and repair sewing machines.

Our day courses are mostly subject-based and take place on weekend days. Our evening classes take place on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. Most of our courses suit all abilities, whether you are a complete beginner, returning to sewing, or already an experienced sewist.

We regularly update our schedule with additional courses. If the dates below are unsuitable, don't hesitate to get in touch with us with some suggested dates.

In 2026, as Rebecca is taking on some training one weekend per month. Please note that this will impact how many additional courses can be added to the schedule. If a course date suits you, please book to avoid disappointment.
