A web based ongoing course for all clinical staff who use a Mini C Arm Image Intensifier within their role in compliance with the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulation 2017
In order to work, take responsibility for, or carry out practical aspects of an X-ray examination, the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017 (IRMER) require that you are adequately trained.
It is the view of IRMER that, for adequate training, there must be training in the underpinning theoretical knowledge and in practical experience. The purpose of this course is to provide the theoretical knowledge.
