This distance learning 1-day Radiographic Imaging of the Hand and Wrist Trauma course, delivered over 2 half day sessions, will comprise of formal teaching/lectures and workshops all delivered via online media platforms.

The course is for international health care professionals ONLY such as Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists.

The course is aimed at clinicians who wish to develop knowledge of normal radiographic anatomy and how hand radiographs are taken.
A systematic approach to reviewing radiographic images will be used and lectures / workshops will cover common hand and wrist injuries that can be seen on radiographs.

Course topics include:

  • Radiographic positioning and normal radiographic anatomy
  • Systematic approach to image interpretation
  • Radiographic appearances of common hand and wrist injuries
  • Informative workshops followed by the group discussion
  • Course will include optional exam
