The original, high-quality training course, successfully run since 2000

A half day comprehensive course suitable for all A&E staff, CTS, ST1 – 3, ENPs, Nurses & Therapists, covering all major aspects of acute hand injuries, when to treat and when to refer.

Among the course topics:

  • Surgical Anatomy
  • Examination of the Hand
  • Reading X-rays
    Plus pre-recorded talks to be watched in advance of the course—approx. 3hours:

  • Soft Tissue Injuries of the Hand

  • Medico Legal Issues

  • Clinical Wrist Examination

  • Extensor Tendon Injuries

  • Flexor Tendon Injuries
    as well as informative workshops and group discussion.
