NOTICE: STROLLER PARKING RULES

For safety reasons, strollers cannot be parked in the hallway due to fire hazards.

Stroller Parking Instructions:

1. Check in at the concierge desk and ask for Piano Buds’ designated stroller parking space.
   
2. The concierge will direct you to the stroller parking area at either the concierge desk or the community hall (both monitored by security cameras).
3. Take your valuables with you.
4. Use the elevator to Floor 1, Suite 101 to attend your class.

Dear Students and Families,

We are pleased to announce that the piano recital is scheduled for Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 4:30 PM. The event will take place at Steinway Hall in New York. The recital will conclude with a group photo, and each performer will receive a Certificate of Performance from Steinway & Sons, presented by Steinway & Sons representative Jennifer Chiaramonte.

Class Dates:

January: 8, 15, 22, 29
February: 5, 12, 19, 26
March: 5, (no classes March 6–16) 19, 26
April: 2, 9, (no classes April 14–20 for Spring Recess) 23, 30
May: 7, 14, 21 (no class May 27 for Memorial Day)

No Classes on the Following Dates:

March 6-16, 2025 - closed
April 14-20, 2025 - Spring Recess
May 26, 2025 - Memorial Day

Sample Class Structure:

✏️ Learn or review finger numbers/notes on the grand staff, 🎹 play a 1-octave C-major scale on the mini pianos, 🎵 select a digital piano, 📕 open your books to page ___, 👋 find your finger position, 🌈 play on black keys or white keys CDEFGAB, 🎧 wear headphones while you practice a piece from Alfred’s Books or ABRSM Initial to Gr. 1-5 books, 🎭 learn about the roles of the artist & the audience,🏅 perform in class on the grand piano ⭐ take a bow 🤖 sight-read Beethoven Symphony 'Choral'

Required Books:

Attending a Class:

If you can't make it to a class, please let us know, and we will transfer the class to another Group Piano class within the course start and end dates. We recognize other holidays as important to our community. Please let us know if you cannot attend your lesson due to a holiday observance.

Make-up Classes:

Make-up classes (up to 2 classes) for missed Group Piano sessions are available until the last day of the course. Students are welcome to attend other class timings within the course dates for the make-up classes based on seat availability.

Cancellation by the Studio:

In the event that the studio cancels a class for any reason (e.g., teacher illness, inclement weather), a full refund will be issued to the students.
