Ashajoy Yoga

Yoga is much more than a physical practice. It is about connecting the mind, breath, body, and spirit.
Yoga is a Sanskrit word which means 'Union' or to 'Join together'.
Through an ongoing regular practice we can unite body, mind and spirit to create stillness, calm and inner peace.

Ashajoy Yoga is the creation of Coralie Taylor. The name is from the Sanskrit word 'Asha' which means hope, desire, life and Joy is in remembrance of Coralie's mother.
The name resonates with Coralie as we all have hope and the desires for a life full of joy and happiness and Coralie believes that this can be found from practicing yoga.
Coralie an experienced teacher has been practicing and studying yoga for 35yrs and teaching since 2008. Coralie completed her first Teacher Training in 2008 in India at Yoga Vidya Gurukul Ashram and her second Teacher Training in 2021 with Jai Yoga in Jindabyne NSW - RYT 500hrs

In Coralie's classes there is a strong focusing on connecting the Breath (Prana- life force) with the Pose (Asana) to create a mindful flowing practice.
Coralie likes to teach classes with an emphasis on present moment awareness which helps calm the mind and presents a stillness within the body.
Finding a balance between movement and stillness and appreciating the benefits of both.
Making yoga enjoyable, accessible and achievable for everybody is her main goal.
Coralie is passionate and loves that she gets to share the joy and healing that yoga has brought to her life.
When Coralie is not on the mat, she is a Registered Nurse, specialising in Diabetes Education.
