Frequently Asked Questions
1. What ages and skill levels do you cater for?
We welcome children aged 6 to 18 of all abilities, from complete beginners taking their very first moves to advanced players refining their tournament strategies. Children are grouped by experience so everyone is challenged and supported at the right level.
2. Does my child need to bring their own chess set?
Not at all! We provide all the chess sets, boards, clocks, and learning materials needed during the sessions. All they need to bring is their enthusiasm.
3. How do I book a place for my child?
Just find your preferred club session in the schedule below and click on the class you want to open the booking page.
4. What happens if my child can't make a session?
For most children, you don't need to let us know if they are missing a session. However, if your child is older and making their way to the club independently, please do drop us a quick message if they won't be attending, so we know they are safe and accounted for.
