Training Terms and Conditions
This course booking is subject to the following terms and conditions between the Client on the Booking and Regiment First Aid Training Ltd. In this agreement, the ‘Booking’ means the purchase by the Client of a delegate’s attendance on a training course offered by Regiment First Aid Training Ltd, the ‘Client’ means the person or body corporate purchasing the training and ‘training’ shall include online learning licences. In the event of online learning licences, ‘Booking’ shall mean the purchase by the Client of a licence to use the online learning course offered by Regiment First Aid Training Ltd via Videotile learning.
Course Fees – The price quoted on the website shall be the price of the Booking excluding VAT. The VAT should be added to the amount shown at the applicable rate of VAT at the time of making the Booking, currently 20%. If a Client fails to make full payment to Regiment First Aid Training Ltd within the stated time Regiment First Aid Training Ltd reserves the right to levy a late payment charge under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
Payment Terms – Payment is due at the time of Booking and can be made via credit/debit card or by BACS.
Existing Credit Clients – An invoice will be issued and payment is due in accordance with these terms and conditions or the terms of your Service Agreement with Regiment First Aid Training Ltd if the latter exists it will supersede these Terms and Conditions.
Non-payment – In the event of non-payment following a Booking, Regiment First Aid Training Ltd reserve the right to refuse admission or cancel the online learning licence if payment has not been received prior to attending the course or using the online learning licence. Such refusal of admission or cancellation of the online learning licence in these circumstances shall amount to a cancellation and the full fee shall remain due.
Joining Instructions – Venue details and full joining instructions will be sent to the Client after receipt of the course fee. Overnight accommodation, travel and subsistence is not included in the course fee.
Client Cancellation, Substitution & Rescheduling Charges
This shall apply only to Face-to-Face training and not to online learning licences

Changes and cancellation by the Regiment First Aid Training Ltd – Where the Client has purchased licenses for use of online learning courses, such licences shall remain valid for a period of One year. Thereafter, Regiment First Aid Training Ltd retains sole discretion as to whether to permit any rollover of credits to a new year, any extension to the use of credits or any refund of unused credits. Regiment First Aid Training Ltd shall not be bound by the past exercise of discretion in any future or similar circumstance.
Regiment First Aid Training Ltd shall only supply externally accredited training or online learning where this is specifically provided for at the time of Booking. Where the supply of externally accredited training or online learning is not specified, Regiment First Aid Training Ltd shall supply Regiment First Aid Training Ltd standard training or e-learning.
All training and e-learning shall be delivered and conducted in the English language.
Regiment First Aid Training Ltd reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any of training at their discretion for any reason including, but not limited to, sudden unavailability of Regiment First Aid Training Ltd representative. Refunds, either full or in part, shall be at the sole discretion of Regiment First Aid Training Ltd.
Regiment First Aid Training Ltd reserves the right to substitute a member of Regiment First Aid Training Ltd personnel for another member of Regiment First Aid Training Ltd personnel or a subcontractor to complete any training at their discretion for any reason including, but not limited to, sudden unavailability of Regiment First Aid Training Ltd representative. Refunds, either full or in part, shall be at the sole discretion of Regiment First Aid Training Ltd.
Due to continuous changes and updates to law, all course content is correct and valid at the time of taking the course. However, we cannot be held liable for future changes and we recommend that all courses are retaken in no more than 12 months.
Warranty and Liability
The Client accepts that it is their responsibility to ensure that the course is suitable for the delegate(s) placed on the course and that the delegate(s) has/have the necessary competence to achieve the objectives of the training course. The Client accepts that it is their responsibility to ensure that the online learning is suitable for the delegate(s) using the online learning course and that the delegate(s) has/have the necessary competence to achieve the objectives of the training course. For the avoidance of doubt, Regiment First Aid Training Ltd liability for loss and damage shall be limited to a claim for damages and the maximum liability of Regiment First Aid Training Ltd will be the charges for the Booking out of which the loss or damage has arisen. Regiment First Aid Training Ltd will not be liable for indirect, special or consequential loss (including loss of anticipated profit or data), however arising, even if the Client, or its representative, has advised Regiment First Aid Training Ltd of such potential loss.
Intellectual Property
The copyright and all other intellectual rights in all course materials shall remain the sole and exclusive property of Regiment First Aid Training Ltd or, in the case of a course developed by a partner, the partner organisation. The Client undertakes that it will not copy, or permit to be copied, such course material nor disclose, or permit others to disclose, sell, licence or hire the same to third parties, nor use the same to run the Client’s own courses whether for internal use or external use.
Uncontrollable event
Regiment First Aid Training Ltd shall not be liable for the failure to supply any Booking due to a cause beyond its reasonable control.
Smoking, E-Cigarettes & vaporisers
Smoking is not permitted in training courses. Whilst Regiment First Aid Training Ltd acknowledges that e-cigarettes and vaporisers are not covered by the Health Act 2006, a decision has been made for the comfort of all in attendance on the training course to ban the use of e-cigarettes and vaporisers during training sessions. Clients who smoke or use e-cigarettes or vaporisers are still free to do so in their own time and outside on breaks. Clients who smoke or use e-cigarettes or vaporisers during training will be asked to leave and no refunds, in whole or in part, shall be due.
Law
This Agreement and any other agreement of which it forms part shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of England and the English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
