Classes for mixed abilities and newcomers to yoga. This it the time for yoga, to free up our tight bodies and calm our busy minds. An hour of mindful movement where you reconnect with yourself and develop strength and flexibility. Join in and discover yoga. All classes are now Drop in, you don't need to pre pay or pre book. I will keep this site open to show the schedules.
My style of yoga combines flowing movement with the breath and longer holds. I will demonstrate and verbalise everything, the classes start with some centring and then slow joint articulation progressively increasing the movements. We will then flow though the postures generating warmth to enable balances, deeper holds and release.
Above all, there is no pressure, I will provide restorative postures for 'time out' and since we are all unique, so is our individual expression of yoga.
The yoga I teach is practical and I make sense of the practice.
My aim is to encourage more people to roll out a mat for the first time and embark on a journey that could change their lives.
