The States Early Years Team CPD Diary

The SEYT’s aim is to enable Early Years Practitioners access to high quality, multiagency, low cost or free training. The following conditions are therefore intended to be as simple as possible to meet your training needs.
SEYT Training Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings must be made via this Bookings system. Automatic booking confirmations are emailed once a booking has been made. Automatic reminders will be sent 2 days before the training is scheduled to take place.
2. Where payment is required for training sessions, payment should be made no later than 3 weeks after attending the course.
3. CANCELLATION/NON-ATTENDANCE Cancellations must be emailed to seyt@gov.gg a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the course. A substitute delegate can be named at any time. Non-attendance on the day will incur a £20 Administration fee payable by the Practitioner. Persistent non-attendance or late cancellation may result in the SEYT not permitting subsequent bookings by a Practitioner.
4. If a Practitioner arrives late for a course, or is absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse or accept them for training if we feel insufficient knowledge or skills can be gained in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable, if applicable.
5. SEYT reserves the right to cancel a course at any point in advance of the start date if numbers booked make the course impractical to hold or emergency circumstances occur. In such circumstances, as much notice as possible will be given and an offer will be made for a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid.
6. All online training is available through the SEYT Google Drive. If you do not have access to this then please contact us.

It is the individual Practitioners’ responsibility to remember what training sessions they are booked on and to inform the SEYT of any changes in circumstances.
Attendance certificates are automatically sent once the attendee has completed the online SEYT Feedback and Development Form which is available on the SEYT webpage www.gov.gg/seyt-training
