From the Monks of St. Joseph’s Abbey to all our Retreatants
At long last we are ready to open our retreat house and welcome back our friends and faithful retreatants! It has been almost three years since COVID forced us to close the retreat house, but with your generous help we were able to complete long overdue improvements and to improve our life safety features. When you next arrive, we invite you to look around at the many improvements: new and enlarged dining areas, fire alarm and sprinkler system, public restrooms, and new landscaping. The last three years have been challenging in so many ways that we hope that you will be able to join us for a time apart to pray, to listen, to refresh your spirit in our monastic environment.
We have made some adjustments to our policies to help sustain our retreat ministry:
Cost of retreats: $500 midweek; $250 weekend
Deposit: $100 non-refundable and non-transferable. A credit card is needed to make a reservation online; otherwise, please, call us.
Payment on arrival: After you arrive and are settled in, please, see the guest master to pay the remainder of the cost of your retreat.
Cancellations: You may cancel your retreat online using the reservation number included in your confirmation e-mail. Or you may e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 508-885-8710. Please, let us know if you are unable to attend so that we can offer the space to another person. We are no longer able to transfer deposits to another retreat.
Health precautions: With the lingering effects of COVID, we ask that masks be worn during retreat conferences. Other precautions may be in effect.
Thank you for your patience during this period of transition. We look forward to sharing our monastic hospitality in our newly renovated retreat house.

To book a retreat, please follow the INSTRUCTIONS below:
1) Select and highlight a retreat date.
2) Click on the "View Details" button to the right of these instructions. A new screen will appear with expanded details and photos.
3) Click on the "Select" button to indicate the number of guests you are booking for ---> "Proceed" ---> "Book Now".
4) This will conclude your reservation. You will receive a confirmation e-mail and may use the link in the e-mail to review or cancel your reservation.
