HSE Midlands IHA Suicide and Self-Harm Behaviour Awareness & Training Programmes

All of our trainings ( safeTALK, Understanding Self-Harm, ASIST and Suicide Bereavement Training) are for those aged over 18 years only.

Our trainings are fully funded by the HSE National Office for Suicide Prevention with no charge to the participant and are subject to minimum attendance.

A tiered or staged approach to training is recommended, i.e. you must attend safeTALK or complete the above online training course " Let's Talk Suicide" ahead of attending ASIST.

Please be aware of the emotional nature of the content of our training and take time to self-care after training; see www.yourmentalhealth.ie for more information. If you have been bereaved by suicide or affected by suicidal behaviour in the recent past, please attend only when you feel emotionally ready to do so.

Training is standardised and requires the participant to be proficient in English, please contact the office to help us support your training needs.

Please note trainings marked CLOSED, require a password to book. If you do not have a password, please register for our open to the community trainings i.e. trainings that do not say CLOSED.

Click to reserve your place in the schedule below.

If a training is fully booked, please sign up to the waitlist to be notified for available spaces.
