Yin yoga consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body - the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. Yin yoga is almost entirely passive. During the poses muscles are relaxed to avoid muscle spasm.
Gently challenging connective tissues by holding a yin pose for time, the body will respond by opening, lengthening.
Everyone from the athletic to those with limited mobility will benefit from Yin Yoga practice. Welcome to yoga’s quiet side!

Prepare your yoga space 10 to 15 minutes before the event start time. You will be able to speak to other people in the class before the practice, but during the practice I will remotely mute everyone’s microphone. At the end of relaxation I will close the session allowing you to stay in relaxation for as long as you like. Feel free to play your own music during the practice, but please turn it off whilst the mics are open.
Wearing comfortable layers is recommended.
Have your yoga mat, blanket, cushions and any yoga props you have at hand, in a space where you won't be disturbed.

Online Yin Yoga - may be attended live via Zoom. Your booking confirmation will include the Zoom Code. You will also receive an email recording which can be repeated and will be available for 7 days.
