Ceilidh Celebration

It seems some people are having trouble reserving their tickets here. We're looking into this, in the meantime, if you have problems, you could reserve tickets by sending an email to

Calling Friends, Gatherers, and Dancing Feet...

Come and join us and the wonderful Hippo Ceilidh Band - with experienced caller George Middleton - as we celebrate the Gathering Gates, Norfolk Grief Tending and... YOU! 💃 🎻 🎶

As well as a good old knees-up, this will be a fundraiser to support the Gathering Gates in offering more opportunities to grow community and to work on projects together.

In February last year the Gathering Gates was awarded a £10,000 Big Lottery grant. 🎊💰🐝 During this time we've offered nine grief tending events (through Norfolk Grief Tending), including one-day and shorter workshops, online intros, and two weekend retreats. We've also successfully delivered seven Creative Conversations. 💪 😍 🌻

Go Gatherers!

Come and join us as we celebrate what we've achieved, and as we big up the more beautiful world that is already here - in our hearts and in our midst. 💫🍾💗

As with all our events, this is being offered in the spirit of the gift. It's also a fundraiser to support our work going forward - so please do give what you can. That said, more important than your money, is the gift of your presence to come celebrate with us.

We would welcome volunteer support on the evening and in the prep if you feel to lend a hand. ping us an email on if you can help (more details about what's needed will be sent in your confirmation email).

We will gather from 5.30pm, for a bring-and-share meal from 6pm 🍞🍇🍽 🍑 and the ceilidh will follow at 7.30pm. There will be a break in the middle for tea and cake 🍰 ☕ and we'll finish around 9.30pm or 10pm.

Come for the whole event, or just for the meal, or just for the ceilidh.

Reserve your place

Please reserve your ticket by paying £5, and then choose how much you would like to contribute on top of this on the evening (cash or card). We're suggesting £15 in total if you can, but it's fine if you wish to give less, or more. If you are a UK taxpayer, we can claim 25% Gift Aid on your contribution. If you tick this box, please be sure to also leave us your address details. Thank you!
