Cancellation
We are really sorry but we are unable to offer refunds if you are no longer able to attend a session you have booked. As I'm sure you can understand, we have planned our sessions, staffing and supplies carefully based on the numbers of participants booked in. If you or your child is no longer able to attend a session, due to illness or other circumstances, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible to let us know. You are welcome to pass the place onto a friend (but please do let us know!) or, if we have a waiting list, we may be able to transfer the place to another participant. In that case we may be able to offer you a refund for the missed session(s), however this is not guaranteed. If we have enough notice we are happy to advertise the space on our Facebook page to try to re-fill the space, however we cannot guarantee we will be able to. In some cases we may also be able to offer you a place on an alternative session, where space is available.
Cancellation due to staff illness
If any of the Log Circle staff are too ill to run the session we will try to find a suitable (qualified) replacement to ensure the session can still go ahead. If we are unable to find a replacement we will try to add an additional session onto the end of the block. Where this is not possible for us to do you will be offered a refund for the cancelled session. If an alternative session is offered and you are unable to attend, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund.
Cancellation due to extreme weather
Although forest school happens in all weathers, safety will always come first. If there is strong wind or extreme thunderstorms, whereby we feel that participants are exposed to unacceptable risk, the session leader may make the decision to move the session to a safer location, or to cancel. We will always try to inform you as soon as possible when this happens. In the event of a cancellation, we will try to add an additional session onto the end of the block. Where this is not possible for us to do you will be offered a refund for the cancelled session. If an alternative session is offered and you are unable to attend, we regret that we are unable to offer a refund.
