A beginner-friendly recovery and mobility class
Yoga for Hikers is a gentle, practical yoga class designed specifically for people who love walking, hiking, and time outdoors — no yoga experience needed.
This class focuses on the areas that work hardest when you hike: feet, ankles, calves, hips, knees, and lower back. Using simple poses, we’ll help the body recover from long walks, improve balance and stability for uneven ground, and create space where walking and carrying packs can leave you feeling tight or stiff.
Expect slow, controlled movement, plenty of options, and clear guidance. The emphasis is on feeling better in your body, not achieving shapes.
We’ll also finish with a short relaxation to support recovery and help the nervous system settle after physical effort.
This class is ideal if you hike regularly, feel stiff after walking, or simply want to move in a way that supports your outdoor adventures and everyday life.
This is a gentle movement class and standing poses should be performed barefoot or with special grip socks.
All equipment, mats, blocks bricks, blankets and bolsters are supplied but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
The studio is heated to a comfortable level, but please bring layers as the body can cool quickly when relaxing.
Water is available in the studio area.
