Messy Makers is a 45-minute, story-led Sensory Stay & Play for little ones and their grown-ups — a calm, welcoming space to connect, explore and have a proper “hands-on” play session together.

We build every session around our simple routine (so children know what’s coming):
Songs → Story → Sign → Sensory ✨

Your child will experience:
• a friendly hello with names and familiar songs
• an interactive story with props
• themed sensory stations to explore at their own pace (including wet/messy and dry/clean options)
• a cosy calm close with lights down, star projector and soft music

We keep things practical for parents too:
• Aprons are provided (you’re welcome to bring your own apron or a puddle/splash suit)
• Messy play happens — bringing a spare change of clothes is a great shout
• Snacks are welcome (hot drinks must have lids)

Why we love this kind of session:
Playful, back-and-forth interactions with a familiar adult — talking, singing and playing together — are widely recognised as important for early development and early language foundations. Sensory (messy) play also gives children a chance to explore textures and materials in a fun, low-pressure way.

Expect smiles, curiosity, and lots of “I want to try that!” moments — all in a supportive, relaxed environment.
