The Wild Ones - Forest School

The Wild Ones Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through regular sessions. It is a program that supports play, exploration and risk taking.

At The Wild Ones Forest School children get the chance to play, explore and discover. The sessions are all about child-led exploration of our surroundings, allowing children to develop confidence and self-esteem, through hands-on learning experiences led by their natural curiosity and iniate desire to explore all within a woodland environment making deeper connections to nature.

It may be a rare opportunity in our busy lives to simply take a step back and enjoy watching the children in a natural setting. The focus is on reconnecting (or in some cases ‘connecting’) children with their local outdoor environment, giving them the space and freedom to discover, play, explore and learn within a natural, outdoor setting.

The Wild ones Forest school programmes are devised by experienced and qualified forest school practitioner (Jessica)

• Qualified and Experienced Level 3 Forest School Practitioner
• Experienced in working with children.
• Insured and hold Enhanced DBS
• Qualified in outdoor first aid

🔍EARLY EXPLORERS🔎

Monday - 10-11.30 - Skegby

Early Explorers is a Forest school group developed by The Wild ones for children 6 months to 5 year and their grown ups to truly immerse themselves into the woodland environment. This programme of sessions is all about child-led play and adventuring! We will be making mud pies & potions, swinging in the hammock, balancing on the slackline, splashing in the stream exploring the woodland and the creatures that live there.

🌱 FAMILY DAYS🌱

Themed family days take place in the school holidays and on weekends. These are all different and provide an range of experiences for children of all ages.
