💚 Dedham Forest School – weekly update

Dedham will continue to be a week-by-week decision until the end of March, as water levels are still high and the ground is becoming very churned after sessions.

After a morning of play the site can quickly become slippery, which is a safety concern.
We really need a few dry days between sessions to allow the ground to recover 😕

We know we have families who truly love being outdoors, so when Dedham sessions do run in March, they will be aimed at children aged 12 months to 8 years, offering space, freedom and open-ended nature play.

Our Bentley barn sessions continue to support children aged 12 months to 4 years, providing a warm, calm indoor alternative while outdoor conditions remain changeable.

💚 We have loved welcoming families back this Tuesday and Friday at Dedham. Sessions have been quieter, but the mud is definitely being worked hard.

We will reassess plans towards the end of March and hope to slowly return to more regular outdoor sessions as conditions improve 🤞
