Living with chronic illness or long term health issues is difficult and affects our lives in so many ways that we can find ourselves feeling stressed, struggling to find emotional balance and wishing we could somehow find greater resilience. This 8 week course is designed specifically for those of you who find yourselves in this situation.

You will learn live online with a small group of others who face similar challenges, what emotional regulation is and how we can support and create that in ourselves, over time leading to greater resilience to be able to more comfortably navigate the sometimes stressful and unpredictable landscape of chronic illness.

As people all living with long term health concerns we will join to share our experiences and learn together about what emotional regulation really is when some stress, worry or pain is unavoidable; the important role of our nervous system and how to navigate & re-tune it; how to gently regulate our emotions so that our feelings become less overwhelming, building greater resilience over time. We will begin to learn how to lean in to our emotions whilst at the same time feeling safe, supported, grounded and therefore empowered.

This course is interactive, with theory/understanding balanced with lots of practical exercises and explorations.


When you confirm your booking you will receive an email from me with a link for the sessions. Each live session will be recorded so if you can't make a session or you have a time zone difference that means you can't attend them live, each session recording can be made available for one full week after the scheduled date.

Please log in to each online session 5-10 minutes before the session starts so that we have time to settle and start on time so we get the most out of our time together!

Wear comfortable clothes, and maybe have a notebook & pen/pencil (when we need coloured pencils in a session I will let you know a week in advance).

Bring a blanket, cushions if wanted, your preferred drink, and try to join the sessions in a quiet, comfortable, private space where you won't be disturbed (if possible - if you have young children, I understand that can be tricky).
