🌸 Blooming Blossom Families
A calm, creative family nature session
Join us at Calke Abbey for a gentle family session inspired by blossom, springtime and seasonal change, aligned with the Blooming Blossom Trail.
Families will explore blossom through storytelling, imaginative nature “potion” play, simple art activities and moments of calm together beneath the trees. Activities are relaxed and choice-based, allowing children (and adults) to join in at their own pace or simply observe.
This session is ideal for families who enjoy creative play, nature connection and quieter shared experiences outdoors.
Maximum 4 people per family (no more than 2 adults).
A minimum of 10 people are required for this session to go ahead.
Our sessions are held within National Trust parkland, where standard parkland and gardens admission applies (includes parking).
National Trust members are free.
If you wish to visit the house, a separate ticket is required.

Please dress for the weather, bring a drink and sunscreen.
These sessions will involve an element of slow walking and then sitting to complete a creative aspect and explore nature.
All materials will be provided.
