Who is it for?
Aimed at existing outdoor leaders, healthcare practitioners, social prescribers, therapists, and those wanting to start out on learning about ecotherapy and green-care practices. Primarily for those wanting to work with groups rather than one-to-one. Talk to us if you are not sure if this is for you. NB This does not qualify you to work as a therapist.
There will be work fro you to do between sessions! Please give yourself time and space for these. 😊
Course Dates and Times 2025
Session 1: One day - Friday July 25th 10am-4.30pm
Session 2: Two days - Friday Sept 26th and Sat 27th (with overnight camping option) 10am Friday to 5pm Saturday
Session 3: One day - Friday Oct 31st 10am-4.30pm
The overnight element allows more time to develop connections with each other and with the beings of the woods. If you are not able or do not wish to camp, then we ask that you stay late on the Friday (until around 8pm) and arrive for 9am the Saturday. If you would like help with camping gear please ask. There is space for camper vans.
Cost £495
Costs includes workbook, all hot drinks and fruit. Please bring packed lunch and other snacks.
Deposit of £100 secures booking. Full payment to be made by June 25th. (If you wish to pay in instalments or want us to invoice your workplace please contact Jenny)

HOW DO I GET THERE?
You can drive, cycle or catch a local bus. There are various tax firms we work with if you want to book a taxi from Taunton Station.
PREPARE YOURSELF!
Wear old clothes and sturdy shoes or boots. Waterproofs for when it rains. Warm layers. We can lend out waterproofs and wellies as we have a big supply.
If you need help organising equipment for the camping over then ask us. We will provide a suggested 'kit list'.
