Holiday Club

Paupers Wood lies just behind Nell Lane, in West Didsbury. During the holidays urban children can spend the day in nature with a gang of friends. Wide games, rope swings, fires and tools are all part of each day of holiday club. We see curiosity as the foundation of creativity. We aim to inspire with stories and ignite interest in the world around us. Seasonal crafts and old favourites combine to create a day of exploration with a team of highly experienced adults who are trained in compassionate communication. We feel that the language we use helps to motivate, sustain self-esteem when things go wrong and maintain relationships. Life can be tricky when the swing is in use, someone has a stick that two people want or just when someone is overwhelmed by a build up of events.

Please note : our club is for Year 1 children up to and including aged 12. They can be 5 years old as long as they are turning 6 in the academic year. If it is the summer and they are going into Y1 in September they are too young according to Ofsted regulations.
